Breakfast at Heavenly's

What was up with her not allowing her daughter to eat her food. The plate was full of food, that Dr. Heavenly prepared and served to her children. Yet, when her daughter was trying to eat it, she kept nagging her to stop eating and go retrieve her backpack so they could leave.

The plate of food had barely been touched, but the way Heavenly was acting you would have thought her daughter had already downed 3 platefuls while oinking like a pig.

It was uncomfortable to watch because I get the feeling it had nothing to do with running late and more to do with Dr. Heavenly's own weight issues....

Naw, I don't think it had to do with her weight issues. If that was the case, I don't think she would have fixed her plate with so much. Perhaps we weren't shown something. I mean she gave the boys their food and they ate it straight away and left. I got the impression that she was really taking her time to eat and we weren't shown just how much time had lapsed and then she decided to eat when it was close to the time for her to go.

Remember we aren't shown everything in real time.

The girl clearly took too long to eat her food. She must've taken her sweet time because he brother's plates were basically finished meanwhile her's was half full. Clearly the children's ride was coming and she had to go. It looked like she just ran out of time and whether or not she was finished she had to go. Youre overanalyzing...

Her brothers plates did not look empty to me. Maybe I'm wrong but when I saw Heavenly take the plates away, it looked as though there was still a lot of food left.

I'm probably over thinking it but that was just the feeling I got when watching it.

She has a schedule to stick to; breakfast from 7:41 to 8:03, plates cleared at 8:04, kids off to school at 8:11. lol... Reminded me of Benson on an old "Soap" episode who picked up Chester's plate before he was done all the time.

I rewatched the episode and it did in fact look like the boys also had a lot of food on their plates still, when they got up from the table. Also, when Heavenly was still coming, her daughter was in fact eating her food so I really don't think that she had come downstairs that much later than the boys.
