So the girl was smart and old enough to find the information about the kidnapped kid, but too stupid to just call the police? How's that not a plot hole? The director should never make films after this fail. It's ridiculous.

P.S. most of film music is just shameless Arvo Pärt rip-off.

I think the majority of us agree that this girl not contacting the police after numerous crazy things the woman did is ridiculous and it ruined the film.

Fantard, I agree with you about the Disney esque way this movie was made. It was almost like "my first scary movie" for preteens. Oh well.

You know, it could have worked as an episode of the Nickelodeon show "Are You Afraid of the Dark?".

You would have to be a young child to not be distracted by the absence of logic in this movie.

I agree. It felt like they made a kids movie and then, at the last second, decided to rework it into a movie for adults and the end product didn't come out quite right.
