The Dad (Spoilers)

The dad seemed like the voice of reason in response to his wife's craziness and pretty decent so I found it a little hard to believe that he would go along with his wife's plan all those years. At the very end he resists her but he went along with all the rest! I kind of wondered why he took the paint away from the mom when there was only that small patch left to cover. Just a small detail I found weird, she had already done almost all of it. And they probaby never showed that leftover patch again anyway. The mom's craziness was believable though. Overall I thought this was a pretty entertaining movie and I liked the kids.
