I texted someone ten minutes into this and said it was pretty funny...

..then texted them back twenty minutes later to say forget it, it's crap.

Adam Pally had some funny stuff and Sarah Burns did everything she could to undo any effort he put in. She truly was the AIDS of comedy in this particular cinematic outing.

And a goddamn gag reel over the end credits? Jackie Chan put the nail in the coffin of that gimmick over a decade ago. I would have got more laughs just watching the credits scroll past with no soundtrack playing.

I give this film five stars for Adam Pally's amusing opening scene, then subtract four stars for Sarah Burns doing Jim Carrey-lite, then I add two stars as it's always good to see Kevin Dunn getting work, then subtract one star for a so-called gag reel over the credits.

So we're left with two stars, is what I'm saying. And then I subtract one star, because it just stunk of wasted potential.

One star. One star for everyone, like participants in a handicapped kid's egg-and-spoon race. One star just for participating.
