cancelled; no season 3

Oh well, on to the next one.

Are you serious?
I was just starting to get into this

reply

Yup, final episode will air on March 5. Suspected as much when the show went on hiatus for months only to burn the rest of season 2 in a matter of days. Oh well, at least The Thundermans got a third season.

I think it was just too expensive to produce. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few of the actors end up on new shows (like Benjamin) but there were just too many principal actors to make it economical on top of an effects driven show.

Can't find any proof of that- The only thing online says June 2013?

It says on twitter final four episodes- so obviously its gone

Amber tweeted "It's crazy how you can work for a company for so long and they treat you like you don't even exist" aimed at Nickelodeon.
Hathaways is far superior to that Nicky Ricky Nonsense which is absolute garbage. I'm confident all of the actors on Hathaways will find bigger and better projects to be a part of.

I liked the show. What a shame.I loved the actors and characters. Wish the cast well.

Agreed. What were they thinking?

It seems Nickelodeon it trying to reach younger audiences these days with their live action comedies.

I've got back to ignoring Nick again. The Hathaway brought me back(w/ Sam and Cat) but now I'm gone again.

reply

Me as well. After canceling Big Time Rush, House of Anubis, and Victorious and then moving Legend of Korra to NickToons and House of Anubis to TeenNick from big Nick and keeping terrible stuff going.

This gets added to the long list of Nick shows that I liked but got cancelled too soon. The list includes;

Sam and Cat
Supah Ninjas
The Troop
Life with Boys
Bucket and Skinner
How to Rock

Excellent analysis of the situation. Did you include Disney XD shows in your analysis?
What do you think is the take away from all of this information?

You're right. Disney XD live action shows have been as successul as the Disney Channel shows. I don't understand the problems at Nick. Sometimes it seems like they just don't have any faith in their own shows and they don't advertise them.

Yeah I agree, Nick shows suck but good ones get cancelled way too fast than they come out with an even worse one. I really like Henry Danger though, I hope that stays on for a while but if they just can't keep canceling shows everytime they want to come out with a new one, especially the actual good ones.

ClassicForever, question; Do you know if Nick has cancelled Awsomeness TV?

It was on Teen Nick for a while but they stopped showing it so I think it's cancelled

I remember mentioning this when talking about the crossover, but my point actually stands. Seeing how both this show and The Thundermans got the same "several episodes a week" treatment but The Thundermans survived, it makes me realize that Nick probably saw more in that show than HH. I believed that The Thundermans had more potential for a longer lifespan and now it's actually happening.

I actually thought this show was pretty charming most of the time. The only problem is, most of the characters never really developed beyond the personalities they were given. I also thought the stories involving the Prestons were more interesting than the stories with the Hathaways.
