I hope the guy that played Jodie NEVER works again

shareI thought he wasn't too bad, it was the guy who played Nick and then his wife Janelle who were the worst of the actors in this film. Their entire dialogue comes off as unnatural and somewhat hokey. In fact, by the time the guy who played Nick started to sound almost like he was a character and NOT an actor who is TRYING to be an ACTOR trying to play a CHARACTER, the film was nearly over.
As far as "found footage movies" go, I've seen worse. Go look at that godawful St. Francisville Experiment if you want an example of how truly awful a "found footage" type movie can be.

The guy who played Jodie was fine. The character Jodie was annoying. So the actor did his job.
The guy who played Nick was also fine. The character Nick was not likeable. So the actor also did his job. The writing of the relationship between Nick and Janelle was bad. Not too sure why Janelle would be with Nick, but then again, I've seen better women with worse guys.
Actually, just came on here to complain about him, myself. The little Adhd kid act was bothersome, and my tolerance for him became short lived, pretty quickly. I know he was going there to basically snoop on his brother in law, but him chasing them around with the camera annoyed me
