Thoughts

Milky living with guilt soo much he turns to alcoholism to the point where he he tells LoL

LoL - Finding out what happend to 'combo' lets face it... the dude is dead.... he was butchered like a pig and probs dumped in the sea?

Woody finding out he is sick (cancer maybe?)

Shaun's new GF leeaving him (didnt work out or he cheated again?)

Smell in an abusive relationship

Gadget trying to help Harvey (harvey becomes a drug addict)

LoL Wants to plan for revenge for combo (but ridden with guilt to go along with it because her kid's dad is milky...)

That would be my guess...

If Shane does make a 92/95/98 i cant see milky living through this.

I can see Milky turning to boxing as a way to vent his pent up guilt. Andrew Shim boxes in real life, we saw a few moves thrown in '90 slow motion sequence, Meadows teased a fight between Combo and Milky which never happened.
Shane's done a film about boxing too, Twenty Four Seven.
Just another theory though.

Shaun's relationship probably won't last long, it was a bit unrealistic in my opinion anyway.

I can't see Kelly coming off drugs that easy

I feel like '90 brought everything to a climax. I'd love to see more This Is England, although Meadows has been non-committal about the prospect. Maybe there shouldn't be more because at some point you hit a peak and can't top it, and I think that was achieved in the last series.

That said, if it were to happen, then, yeah, Milky would be absolutely guilt-stricken. I think Kelly would come around and wouldn't be on hard drugs, though. For the other characters, though, it's hard to see where they go in becoming adults and therefore possibly more staid and boring.
