The final TROS trailer shows a whole load of spaceships of various kinds so close together to each other that they are practically moving as one, with no space to stop if the ship in front suddenly does so. I haven't seen a fleet of ships handled this badly since Last Jedi! Oh, wait...
It must be the very beginning of the battle. the same happens in the ep4 and ep6 battle

Space is pretty huge. The distance between ships is probably still astronomical. We're not parking cars in NYC here.
shareThat's my point, TandyMan. Why aren't they far more separated? That shot is as ludicrous as the density of asteroids in the Hoth scene.
Even so, the Classic Trilogy did a better job with distances between ships when large fleets are shown in one screen. It just all looks so cluttered in that shot, and messy.
