He's reunited with his girlfriend in the Millennium Falcon.

For that to happen, Chewie would have to let the Falcon go.

Which would raise all sorts of dread possibilities...

Chewie gets no respect. Rey took the ship in the last film. Lando will probably take it now.

He's just a walking carpet, anyway.

He is back in the falcon with his love droid's brain - it will 100% come up in the film.
