Trailer at Endgame opening night fan reaction - meh
The trailer for Episode IX played during the electric atmosphere of Endgame.
The audience groaned and scoffed when Rey jumped, some booing, and mostly disinterest. TLJ was a franchise killer.

Sure seems like it.
shareThe trailer is horrible. There's nothing interesting nor original about Rey jumping.
shareBut she was running also! That was interesting and original. Who has ever run in a movie before?
shareI groaned at her ridiculous awkward posing. Why are you even stanced forward if you're going to be twisted around looking behind you.
shareBecause she had to start running forward, away from the TIE, as soon as it was time.
Have you ever seen a relay racer waiting for their baton?

Once again, Rey is being targeted for criticism without any thought as to reality.
=(
I heard that too
shareIt got off on the wrong foot right fom the get go. It completely negated the originals. That 3 film saga as the beloved good guys defeated the Empire and took out the Sith.
30 years later and they are in the EXACT SAME POSITION.
The Empire is still in existance...they just call it the First Order and there is still a rag tag rebellion (resistance). It is as if ROTJ never happened.
Then they kill Han without him ever being on screen with Luke.
It was all down hill after that.
This saga is run by novices.
Started and ended by the great JJ- Abrahms. He is the same guy who killed the Star Trek reboot in less than .5 movies by jumping the shark - no starships required, beam anywhere.
