I don't know if the leak is legit, but it sure sounds 100% J.J.Abrams: shitty ending and no real closing. Episode IX would be the new 'Lost' final season.
And Luke's Big Speech , that sounds like the speech in Schindler's List, only this case selling the current political agenda. That would be disgusting, taking an old beloved character and making him a preacher for that PC ideology that Hollywood sells now.
NOTE I'm not saying Luke's back. The speech could be live, it could be the ghost or could be recorded, I'm not gonna spoil which one.

shareBringing him back for reals is too much to educate an audience with in one film. You'd have to spend half the film setting up his reveal and then explaining it just to turn around and kill him off again minutes later. That's what trilogies are for.
