According to a novel

reply

Well, according to the way the scene was directed, I think the novel's wrong.

reply

Everything is wrong with these movies

I'm still trying to figure out who Kylo's real daddy was because with a nose like that he couldn't blame his mother and Hans didn't have a beak like that... Frankly, Hans should have bitch slapped Leia as soon as he saw Kylo's nose 'cause he would have know she was boinking the mailman.

reply

Tarkin?

reply

The last scene we see Leia in in the OT was in the ewok village. Not that I'm suggesting anything.

reply

Sure, why not. I mean, Disney Star Wars exists in a weird sexless universe so it would be bizarre if there was an actual element of romance or emotion shared between two characters. Unless of course it's between two background women who briefly share a lesbian kiss that will be axed from the film in China because it's great to pander to PC culture in the West but not so much in the East if it will affect your box office takings. Way to be classy, Disney.

reply

You missed the sexual tension subplot throughout The Empire Strikes Back, then? It's half the movie.

EDIT: Sorry, Chloe! I read your post too fast. I have been corrected below and wanted to add this so you know I'm up to speed now.

reply

He said Disney Star Wars, not Star Wars. There is a big difference.

reply

That's what I get for speed-reading; thanks for the correction.

Kind of like when Luke and Leia kiss.... and then Luke leans back and gets that look.

Yeah, Lucas had it ALL planned out.

reply

He had it planned out that Luke + Leia didn't know. What's the issue?

reply

Paging Dr. Freud...

reply

Best not to think about any of this. It's all so badly written, both Abrams' and Johnson's efforts.
