Bigger disaster Justice League or Rise of Skywalker?

How does a studio with all the resources rush out a poor scripted film to please shareholders. Both films had their franchises' most important film and somehow they turned out to be clusterfuck of studio interference.

they both similar in that JL and ROS did the least $ of the 3 movies and notable drop from the 2nd critic(bvs)/fan(TLJ) savaged movie. plus had a rushed/chaotic development which included the original director being fired, result was like a mishmash of ideas from both versions. with lots of fan pandering/throwing out stuff from previous film.. and was considered a mild improvement or worst in series for doing that (depending on your pov)

but 1b is the absolute MINIMUM both JL and ROS should've made

JL not doing 1b was the biggest disaster in motion picture history. Especially in this era of random superhero movies breaking 1b left right and centre.

even tho BvS had split opinion/negative reviews it still made close to 900m and it was pretty unthinkable a JL movie wouldn't do 1b (esp after WW had become a phenomenon/800m and she was pretty much front centre of JL)..but it did. Be like if TROS was totalling out at about 700m (which might've happened had they not plopped The Emperor in and put him in the marketing/trailers.. and it being billed as the culmination of the entire saga pretty much saved it).

Well, they did hire the same writer as Justice League to write the script lol.

Chris Terrio is a hack. One of the worst screenwriters working today. He makes Akiva Goldsman look good by comparison.

Oh, I thoroughly enjoyed "RoS"! The first hour was actually fun, and then I started giggling at the Big Reveal, and found plenty more camp and unintentional camp! Damn, that old queen Palpatine can send anything over the top, that's why I love him!

"Justice League" was just dull. "Rise of Skywalker" wins.
