Could they do a Star Wars - Terminator crossover ???

What do you think ???

reply

No..bad idea. Both franchises can't even keep their own canon straight...together would be a mess..

reply

Mix it up a bit.

Blade Runner vs Alien vs Star Wars.

Take the grittiness of blade runner with the gruesomeness of Alien and bring them into the colorful Star Wars universe. It'd be amazing!

Now you're talkin. 👍👍👍👍

reply

YES!!!
Well done

reply

Throw in a dash of Predator.

reply

No.

Put a Terminator in front of a light saber, a blaster, or someone with Force powers, and what you get is a smoking heap of Terminator parts.

reply

Eh. It couldn't be worse than what they've done so far.

😊😊😊😊

I can see a MCU / SW / Disney crossover : Thanos , Galactus , Darth Vader , Jafar , Maleficent and Pete form an alliance to destroy the Avengers but at the last second Yoda comes in and save the day

Well the problem is that Star Wars takes place long ago in a galaxy far away. Lets just say for our purposes that the Terminator franchise is reality, and the Star Wars universe is an unfound alternate reality joined to it.

The reason I set this up is because Skynet already uses a reality altering device, the time machine assumedly designed and built by the A.I. with zero human involvement.

So lets say that Skynet is losing the war in a Terminator storyline that approaches the actual known end for the war (known because of time travel of course).

But Skynet has one HUGE failsafe: It engages beta-test-level math alterations to the time displacement that can, modified in one direction, do spatial displacement instead, like a monentary wormhole. Modified in the other direction, math which leaves both the time and space displacements far behind, is what Skynet calls Layer Displacement... the layers essentially being alternate possible realities (turns out theyre limited!).

Skynet then saves itself from defeat through a full-on invasion of the Star Wars universe, a long process that technically occurs during the BLIP of time Skynets system is running the algorithm far in the future. It builds an army with Star Wars tech, and arrives back where it started in that same blip, but with the firepower to reverse the tide of the war in seconds.

Damn, thats a good comic idea. I may write it and pitch it!

I like your thinking.

you dont need al lthat wormhole reality bollocks, just some good old "hypersleep" beds.
Then you get a delegation of Jedis off on a long journey accross their galaxy - so (pack lightsabres n stuff) they take a nap.
something goes wrong - ship drifts for a miliion years,
then gets found and intercepted by skynet , or auto lands in the desert , on earth.

Could they do a Superman - Back to the Future crossover? Could they do a James Bond - There Will Be Blood crossover? Could they do a Clockwork Orange - Aquaman crossover?

reply

anything you want

reply

they could , but all crossovers are stupid, bullshit cash-milking marketing exercises, and therefore bad films.

reply

Agreed, and that's the sentiment I tried to get across with the insane suggestions in my post.
