Well that statement doesn't make any sense because the hero of the trilogy is not a Skywalker. I wonder if JJ will pull a scooby doo ending and make Rey a Skywalker. Otherwise this trilogy is about nothing.

Assuming Kylo Ren was right about Rey's parents and she isn't a Skywalker, he plays a major role in the movies. He might not be the hero (at least not now), but he's still a huge factor. So it's still about the Skywalker family.
But that's assuming that he was right about Rey. I think the jury's still out on that one.
Isn't a "scooby doo ending" when they yank some scary monster mask off the chief villain to reveal that it was the janitor all along? I don't understand how Rey being revealed as a Skywalker would fit in with this analogy...
shareHe was really undercover to kill snoke, which he achieved with her help in TLJ (Had to find a way to betray him without him knowing since 'he couldn't be betrayed) - this is why he had to kill Han in order to get closer to Snoke ... and Han understood which is why he forgave him. Also why he didn't kill rey when realistically he should have done so ... easily.
Now he is fighting internally due to his exposure to the dark side and rey will have to break him out of it in order to save everyone else.
The entire franchise ended in 2017 with The Last Jedi.
