So maybe after Rey buries the Skywalker lightsabers on Tatooine , She went back to the Resistance or Jakku.
I didn't need a writer to confirm that and hold my hand. I had that figured out myself. I hate that we've come to the point where moviegoers need everything explained to them and not use their brains to figure out stuff. This is why it's taking me forever to write a screenplay. I feel I need to hold moviegoers' hands because they aren't capable of using their brains and think about things. The only thing I can see me revealing afterwards as trivia/fun facts about my screenplay is something like the main character's girlfriend/fiancée is actually pregnant offscreen at the end of the movie. When we see the final scene and the main character is on the roof of the police department with the police commissioner and the commissioner points the main character in the direction of finding his "Robin" to his Batman, the main character's girlfriend/fiancée is at home pregnant, although the main character doesn't know it yet while his girlfriend/fiancée just discovered she is pregnant. I consider it a fun fact because when it comes to the sequel, the romance subplot of the main character and his fiancée in the sequel heavily focuses on the pregnancy and them on the road to becoming parents. So I can reveal that the fiancée is actually pregnant at the end of the first movie/screenplay. But I don't really have to hold anyone's hand with that. There is just other stuff in the screenplay that I feel I have to hold everyone's hand on and it's just dumb that I have to because they don't want to use their brains to "read between the lines." And with everyone having trouble putting their phone down for 2-3 hours, it makes it even more of a challenge because their minds are elsewhere and they want to be checking Twitter or Facebook or want to post on their Instagram every 5 seconds.

I don't know about Jakku. In TFA: Rey talks about going back to jakku after she left. But I don't think she wants to go back there anymore.
In TFA she talked a lot about going back to Jakku, because she still hoped her family would come looking for her there. By the end of TRoS she knows they aren't coming back and why, she's over that particular foolishness.
You know, her detractors like to say she's "too perfect" and a Mary Sue, but the fact is she's a hell of a long way from perfect. Whenever she listens to her heart or makes decisions based on emotion, she ends up doing some really stupid shit.
No, she won't be staying.
Rey Palpatine only went to Tatooine to bury Aniken, Luke, and Leia's legacy in the dirt.
That done, she'll be selling BB8 to the Jawas for drinking money, blowing it at Mos Eisley, then hitting the road in the Falcon in exploration of both the galaxy and her sexuality.
