It just feels now that the general consensus by the fans/movie goers (not woke critics) is its considered the worst SW film due to the excessive SJW stuff/mishandling Luke and doing the whole subversion expectations for the sake of it, therefore overtaking Phantom or Clones, and the main reason Episode 9 sh#t the bed as it tried to course correct and overdid the fan pandering.

(Its like the way Star Trek Insurrection or Nemesis took over Star Trek V as worst Trek movie)

Not only is it the worst Star Wars movie, it's the worst movie I've ever paid to see at the cinema.

I hate it still and I hate that Lukas sold Star Wars to a corporation...after all those years fighting to keep control of Srar Wars so no one could mess with his story he sells it to a soulless entity who put no effort into a well thought out story but who thought they could churn out anything and make profit.

I have never seen any Star Wars film after this.

To be fair, he put Kathleen Kennedy in charge to look after his legacy. Disney didn't give her the job, Lucas handpicked her, because he had worked with her for decades, and thought she could be trusted to defend his legacy. He wanted people to be able to have more Star Wars, but didn't want to spend yet another full decade sacrificing his family life in order to bring it to them, which is a choice I can respect. But unfortunately, he picked the wrong person to safeguard his brainchild. Kennedy proved to be yet another "woke" SJW, who wanted to remake Star Wars to fit her postmodern, leftist, identitarian ideology, and she surrounded herself with like-minded people. Lucas has simply got to be feeling distinctly betrayed at what she's done to Star Wars.

People who like TLJ fall into two categories. Either their casual SW fans who don't actually love SW or they're pretending to like TLJ to score woke points, or both.
