What If James Gunn Directed Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi??? you know? the guy who made GOTG trilogy??
how do you think the movie would turn out? good or bad??

I suppose it would be ok but that's the thing....Abrams and Johnson (whose two stories didn't line up at all and each went off in different directions and story lines that don't build up or flow logically into a climactic third act) have screwed things up so much leading up to this and it is so jumbled and too many characters are already kind of ruined (they completely ruined the Luke character and then killed him with some pathetic, anti-climactic death and he can't be fixed ever now and Kylo is a bumbling, weak villain whose already lost to the hero in the first act) that there really isn't any saving this saga.
If he got to write/direct (him and the Marvel team) and plan the full 3 films than I bet it would have been good.
Undoing Return of the Jedi and acting as if it is STIIILLLL Empire vs. rag tag rebels right from the start was horribly lame and uncreative.
Agreed. It's still an interesting question to consider, but the saga has been so badly mangled that it's way beyond an issue of this director's style vs. that director's style.
I'm unfamiliar with Gunn other than GOTG, which was great. I'd be a little worried about there being too much comedy.
