Most sold dvd of all time.

Disney has you grabbed by the balls, and they know it.

reply

No its not, it sold 3.8 million , TFA sold 7.4 million , the original trilogy sold 33 million , not sure where you're getting your facts from but there wrong

reply

Even if it was the best-selling, it doesn't mean squat. Good box-office does not equal quality. Plenty of shit films in history that made a motza.

Good box-office does not equal quality

^^^

No but excellent reviews does....

I didnt like TLJ...I'm not a Star Wars Fan....

but it seems to me its pretty clear how this film is judged....

Its clear, Theres a pretty big Divide among hardcore Star Wars, IMO Its easily split 50/50 for those who like and Hate it between the Hardcores...

but that fan base, The Hardcore SW fans Literally make up about 10 to 15% of the audience that sees these SW films...

The Overwhelming Majority of the people that sees these SW films is the general public....and Its very clear The Consensus among them is overwhelmingly Positive....

So what were looking at here Is close to 85 to 90% of the people that saw this Movie liked it

so While I agree Box office doesnt Always equal quality(although It usually overwhelmingly does, If you go back in look at the last 25 years of Films, Literally over 90% of the films that are box office successes go on to be looked at and considered Good Movies) But There are certainly exceptions, Bad movies do great box office too....Its perfectly fine for you to say "Good box-office does not equal quality"

unfortunatel though for you, TLJ has many other things going for that certainly equals that The Film is considered a quality film...

in the future, if your going to use the "Good box-office does not equal quality" excuses...Pick A correct example...

The Transformers film are the perfect example...Theres literally not 1 thing you can point to with those films that suggests they are good or quality films

Awful reviews, Awful Ratings on all major sites, Horrible reputations...Transformers truly is a case(and Probably the best case) of Films Making HUGE box office despite being truly awful films....

The Last Jedi simply does not fit the "Good box-office does not equal quality" criteria....there are many things besides box office that indicates its regarded as a good/quality film...

Had The Last Jedi gotten awful reviews, had Horrible audiences scores and Not been Liked by The Overwhelming majority...then ya your "Good box-office does not equal quality" would apply

But thats not even remotely the case...in TLJ's case the box office and many other things actually all do equal quality

and again,I did not like the film, I've never watched the original trilogy...I've never seen a SW film in Theaters...If they never made another SW film again I wouldnt care less...I'm not biased here...

I'm just speaking facts, Your example of "Good box-office does not equal quality" simply does not fit in this case....

I have a codpiece. So I haven't even torrented any of the new films.

The biggest selling disc of 2018.

No wait. I though it had completely divided and soured the general public and told them to boycott Star Wars from here on in. Now I'm confused. I wish people that hate the movie would tell me what to think about everything in a way that makes logical sense.

It's not the best selling DVD of all time.

I know.

Individuals aren't the only buyers. My county's library system has bought about 40+ copies. If you include libraries around the country as well as DVD rental companies, that's a significant percentage of sales. BTW, the reserves aren't that high for Solo in my library so it's not very popular.

The Transformer films make an assload of money, I don’t know of many people who consider them to be good films

reply

No way. It's gotta be Frozen or some dumb shit.

As the first reply pointed out -thats a loada horseshit.
