Can Darth Emo be an effective Supreme Leader?

Personally, I think he's totally incapable of running an Evil Galactic Empire. He's extremely powerful, but also immature, impulsive, self-absorbed, and not very bright. And he doesn't seem to know how to delegate or organize, or how to get his way by any method other than indimidation, how to inspire loyalty, or deal with bureaucracy. In fact, he's been Snope's attack dog, his head full of whatever Snoke put there, sent out to do jobs other goons can't do, but not trusted with a power structure of his own.

Put him in as Supreme Leader, and after one year the Empire will actually be run by clever bureaucrats who patronize their ignorant "Leader", while he alienates entire system by Force-choking their leaders, and masses of ordinary citizens join the REBELLION. He'll be more insecure and tempermental than ever, because he realizes he can't do the job he's claimed.

I think he’ll lead like earth Vader did. Fail and you die. Considering how unstable he is, if he makes strategy decisions, the first order will be about as intimidating as spaceballs πŸ˜‚

Sounds familiar 😁 ... i think he'll muddle through πŸ˜‰

At least he has the excuse of being young, unlike SOME people.

Snoke's not dead, he was projecting himself. It was a test for Kylo, which Kylo failed. As smart and powerful and cunning as Snoke is, do you think he'd go out like a chump like that? He said he knew all of Kylo's thoughts, he knew Kylo was trying to kill him.

Lol as if any villain in this series was ever anything other than a butterheaded irrational fool and I'm supposed to be surpised that this one is also like that?

By the end of this film, I actually feel that Ren has become one of the more interesting characters. He's clearly still conflicted (doesn't shoot Leia), but at the same time wants to sweep away the old to make way for a new order. He also evidently feels some level of connection with Rey, so it'll be interesting to see where that goes.

I agree. He was one of the saving graces of this movie.
