People come to message boards after a movie comes out to get answers as to WTF they just saw. shareThe correct etiquette on any board is for a spoiler warning. The title of this thread should have been something like: Mark Hamill did not know the fate of his character (Spoiler). Or even the same title of this thread but with (Spoiler) in front. Revealing a major plot point is considered rude on any board.

shareAgreed. It's so easy to not spoil. SO easy. People are just too thoughtless and boneheaded. On IMDB I'd go to the message boards to get the general feeling about a movie if I didn't know much about it. Even just the collective thread titles were a good indicator most of the time. That was until the last few years when all etiquette seemed to vanish and morons would happily spoil the movie in the thread title (often appearing on the main page), and in some cases people spoiled OTHER movies in the message section as well!
