Tacked on the end credits of Rogue One.

Just as people are turning to walk out of the theater ... HOLY CRAP!!!

No, There won't be. The release of Star Wars: Episode VIII's Teaser Trailer will be the end of January 2017/definitely by February 2017. After Disney and Lucasfilm are sure they have made most of the box office dollars they can from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, they could then attach the Star Wars Episode VIII teaser trailer to the movie several weeks after its release to reignite interest in it and get another little box office boost.

Doesn't really work that way. Trailers are released online and don't drive people back to the theater.

And yet, That's going to end up being what will happen. It will be released online and theaters with Rogue One at the end of January/definitely by February, to reignite interest in it when it's amount of audience in theaters starts to dwindle down.

It would make sense for the episode 8 trailer to appear with Rogue One.

Brony who is also a Metallica and Iron Maiden fan.

It won't be released with Rogue One. But if it does then it will be released with Rogue One in January or February or maybe even in March if it's in theaters for that long.
