Takes place immediately after Episode VII... but


could that be for but just one scene? I wonder if the whole movie could take place over the span of a year or whatever time it takes to tell the story. Thoughts?

I hope (and think actually) that those featurette video scenes wont be used.

Star wars needs a crawl that feeds the imagination, then an opening that shows some character development, throws some surprises up and gets you invested in finding out whats been going on. Rey chasing a mysterious hooded figure on speeder bikes round endor, ripping trees out the ground with the force would get the wtf juices flowing.
The least interesting opening conceivable is Rey handing the saber to Luke.
