For Leia...

....I'm hoping that, possibly, if there are deleted scenes from Episode 8 that include Leia, maybe they could transfer those moments into Episode 9. Even if it means she has a smaller role, at least she will have appeared throughout the new trilogy and they can wrap up her story.

In saying that, I have no idea what is going to happen in episode 8. Maybe her character will come to a close. I don't know.
But I think it would be a nice idea. The same way they managed to incorporate some of Paul Walker's deleted scenes from Fast and Furious 5 into Fast and Furious 7.

Anyways, we gotta wait and see.
