Leia dies in Episode VIII per the script? We really don't know but it may be the case right?
They'd have to come out and say it ahead of release though. IF they left it in their like Han's death it would look pretty crass.
To be *TRULY* fair, prior to the release of TFA, many had predicted Han Solo's death (I DON'T need *SPOILER* tags anymore, right?) or for that matter the idea that the lack of Luke in ANYTHING to do w/ the movie made his death highly likely as well, right?
