Give a tasteful sendoff to Carrie Fisher as they did Leonard Nimoy?Well, for Star Trek Beyond, that was easy to do, since Spock prime was not a main character and the last we'd seen of him was a video call between him and young Spock in Star Trek Into Darkness. It kind of seems like Leia will go out like Bail, possibly dying off-screen in Episode IX if she doesn't die in Episode VIII. The thing is, Leia is too important for the characters to not have a humongous funeral like with Padmé or even a humble one like with Qui-Gon. And yet Obi-Wan and Yoda received no funeral. share
