Will 'In Memory of Carrie Fisher' on first ending credits?

Or after credits or show before "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..." Opening?

What do you think?

reply

All of your suggestions would be plausible. My guess would be... As the first thing coming up when the famous end credit melody runs. Just before «Directed by Rian Johnson».

reply

Just before the Lucasfilm logo...

reply

Before the LucasFilm Logo I can see them using the words "For Carrie..." in the blue letters.

reply

Likely at the end of the main credits.

I think, since the beginning of the end credits theme seems too joyful for the topic of death, leave it until just before the rest of the credits roll, and play Princess Leia's theme in the background.

reply

Maybe, probably, somewhere at the end of the end credits. No way they will put it in the opening credits.

reply

They will probably do something special during the ending credits. But I personally think a "For Carrie" appearing even before the LucasFilm logo would be even more powerful of a tribute.

reply

That would be very unfitting and inappropriate imo.

reply

Why unfitting and inappropriate?

She played one of the biggest cultural icons of the 20th century and her character functioned as a major contribution to the story.

I'd be happy with either.

reply

Most likely it'll appear at the start of the end credits, possibly followed by a similar reference to Kenny Baker.

reply

What about Ackbar's voice actor? That's why they will never do it in a prominent place. You can't have the credits be a list of fallen stars. If mentioned, it will be somewhere small and appropriate.
