A 3 movie instalment or 6?

Since they're doing the worst they can to ruin the franchise, I wouldn't be surprised that after the 3 episodes they will launch another 3 with same awful protagonist. But I'm really curious to know what they're going to rehash this time. The OT again? The prequels? Harry Potter? Narnia? Pocahontas? The Avengers?

It is scheduled to be a trilogy, but they have already suggested the story could continue on after this is finished. As long as there is interest they will continue to make more movies.
