Regardless

Regardless of what a lot of people are crying about on multiple sites I found the pacing to be quite enjoyable. I'm sorry to those who are too impatient to wait through thirty minutes of fundamental character development.

The first thirty minutes you are introduced to the main cast, a tragedy, and a plot that evolves later within the movie. After the thirty minutes you dive into the action of the film and the plot twist that explains the reason behind one girls motive for revenge.

The movie was a bit campy at times but overall the elements were mixed well. The ending leaves an opening for a sequel which I hope they make and I hope people can stop nit picking through this movie as if everything else they enjoy is always A+ material. If that was the case those people would probably only enjoy maybe under 30 movies.

On a side note this movie slightly reminds me of R.L. Stine's Fear Street Cheerleaders series... but only slightly.

I had no issue with the pacing. In fact, I thought the best parts of the movie were before they came back to life. Afterwards it seemed clumsy and unfocused. There was never a clear plan for what the movie wanted to be. I found the stones to be cheesy and it was unlikely that girls would die and be resurrected would be so concerned with going to school the next day. Terry should have met a worse death.

I wanted to like it but it was a lousy movie.
