Not to really make fun but, didn't he seem just a SMIDGE too old to be taking Santa THAT seriously? I like having fun, and I would be pretty excited to have a Santa in my house today, it was also very sweet, but, I can't help but think that kid is gonna be pretty embarrassed at school.
shareHe did seem too old. However, given that Mick Foley is 1) A professional wrestler and 2)getting visited by the "real" Santa Claus, it's possible that maybe this is meant to be entertaining and not exactly factual.

I have never heard that Mick had any special needs kids, nor do I recall it being mentioned in the film. At what point did they? Even if those things are the case, that's still not the point.
I was being mean about it. It was a sweet scene.
