Positive VS Negative

Interesting premise let down by at-times leaden pace.
Kudos to the makers (there`s FAR, FAR worse zombie films out there), but, noticing all the cool homages/references doesn`t make a good film (or a film good), & the flickering lights bits were annoying - the references to the Alien franchise should`ve made the makers pause for thought, e.g. in Alien Dallas turns `round & nasty in his face - it worked as the preceding minutes built up a slow tension, whereas by AvP2 it was boring & lazy film-making as we`d seen it done too many times in the intervening years, which is what I felt here.
(I`d like to point out that I suffer from insomnia & this is one of the few things that actually made me go from wide-awake to pausing @ 37 mins & toddling off to bed -hey, I`m trying to be positive...).
Best luck in the future with whichever career path the cast & writer choose.
