Dom's love and enthusiasm reminded me of a young Steve, who my family idolized and are missing him still. Especially when he called a lizard "sexy" and "beautiful"! Dom's not as exuberant as Steve but you know he's loving what he does and is knowledgeable about the animals (insects) that he finds on his travels. Excellent show imho!! I can't wait to get my family watching! Tonight on DVR was my first

I agree. His enthusiasm is one reason I watch the show. The cool locations and the animals are the other reasons.

Absolutely. Thats what makes the show so good. He just loves the wild, just like Irwin, and a show like this just doesnt work with someone who isnt passionate about it.

Haha Clearly you dont even know what the word Pseudo means, because Dom is by no means a Pseudo Celebrity. He also isnt an "animal botherer". He's passionate about wildlife and nature, and teaching others about it. How on earth you came to the conclusion that that is a bad thing, is beyond me. You ask me the world needs more people like him, not less.

Yeah I like him and the show so far.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
