I really wanted to like this movie, as I love bibilical era movies and love the book of Esther. Sadly, from the moment it started, I could tell this was going to be pretty bad. I tried to like it, and just couldn't. Vashti is a whining, rude character, clearly intended to be unsympathetic. Loaded with inaccuracies and just plain bad acting. Sad, since the Esther story is a wonderful story.

shareI agree completely. We are watching it now, and the inaccuracies are driving me crazy and making me angry. I hate it when script writers attempt to rewrite the Bible. Esther is such a beautiful book, and they just cheapened it. :(
