I wonder what are the possibilities the show might return for a second season.

I doubt it.

I think it will get another set of episodes ordered but who knows from there. TVLand is kind of unpredictable when it comes to what gets renewed and what gets cancelled. Hence I thought The Soul Man would be canned over Happily Divorced but as of now the only shows that seem safe are Hot in Cleveland and The Exes which are their highest rated shows.
