INSANE Laugh Track

All these pitiful TV Land sitcoms follow the same formula. Has-been actors, writers and producers, all long past their glory days, and no doubt working on the cheap now.

But the bad acting and writing can't hold a candle to the supplemental laugh track being turned up to full blast. It's so bad it comes off like a parody of a laugh track. Sure, every show has the little announcement at the beginning to tell you there is a studio audience, but they don't tell you that the annoying laughter you hear is closer to 90% laugh track, 10% audience.

You're right. Both laugh tracks are insanely annoying.

I know there is a studio audience, all of the TV land sitcoms have them, I remember when I got tickets for Hot In Cleveland they were also giving out tixs for this show but I can tell you some of the laughter is canned on these shows, the episode I was at for HIC didn't get nearly enough laughs as the show would imply it did and I'm sure it's not any different on this show.

Laugh tracks are so stupid. I'm glad that most modern comedy shows that I like have done away with them. I wish that I could get my favorite older sitcoms on DVD/BluRay without them. Seinfeld would be much better without the laughter. I don't needaudience noises to let me know when something is funny.

Well said.

Bad said. Seinfeld wouldn't be as funny without the laugh-track. THAT is the truth.
