Michael Richards - Get Over It

Just heard about this show on ET and when I saw Michael Richards, I thought, "Good for him. Glad he's got his stuff straight and someone gave him another shot". Then i knew a bunch of anonymous online whiners would be on here ranting.

You never got p**sed? GTF over yourself. Bunch of whiny reverse racists. We give an athlete a million chances and they can hate white people as long as they can hit a jump shot or catch a TD.

Let this guy get his life together. If you really want to bash him have the huevos to do it when people can see your face.

Hey Michael Richards supporter. Here's the video that shows his heart: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BoLPLsQbdt0&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DBoLPLsQbdt0

So while you might be a second-chances, hope you see why others just might not, and yet don't need to be berated for a different sense of things. Enjoy the show. I won't.

You mean it "showed" his heart. Just because that's how he WAS, doesn't mean that's how he IS. He also publicly apologized after the incident. Look at Mike Tyson, people give him a second chance. He also had racist outbursts back in his crazy days, was a wife beater, etc... BTW, it is understandable why Michael Richards did what he did...was it right? NO, but it was understandable. Black people were heckling him and he lost his temper and started spewing racist remarks. The question is, was he doing it because he's a racist? Or was he doing it because he was trying to insult the black people who were heckling him? I know either way it's wrong but since it's understandable WHY he lost his temper I think it's forgivable.
"How could a non-racist say such racist things?" you might ask. Well, it's not hard to think it up on the spot is it? It doesn't mean goes around constantly thinking of how much he hates black people(which I am sure he doesn't.)
I see him more as a guy who had anger/temper problems than racist issues. The anger/temper problems turned racist in the moment because that's how he thought he could get back to them in that moment when he wasn't thinking clearly and the rage took him over. You think if white people heckled him he would have kept his cool and have been really nice to them and just ignored it? No, he would have went crazy at the white people, he may not have said racist remarks against the white people because it wouldn't work there but he would be trying his hardest to insult them any crazy way he could. Point is, he's likely not racist, just has(or had) temper problems.

The elephant in this chat room re Michael The elephant in this chatroom re Richards' comeback on Kirstie is the race of the respondents. I am Black. I am less forgiving having seen the vid of the rant. I wonder if it had been against Jews and referencing a holocaust atrocity, would people be asked to "get over it ". Richards references a lynching with rape with his "upside down with a fork in your a__". Get over it? Not so much.

I think the guy has issues and has had lots of chances. He full of ignorance and hate and knew better and still did it.

Stand-ups get heckled. They do not call racist names.

A proper beatdown for believing people deserve a second chance, that people may evolve, or that people may grow?
You're an example of the complete POS's that infest the world, jumping on bandwagons and saying ignorant nonsense. I wouldn't wish anyone give you a beatdown, but rather that we may cross paths one day so that I can put a boot through your face.
