Absurdly hot and cute chicks throw themselves at Marc Maron

It makes the series unbelievable and a little narcissistic. Besides that, it's ok.

Well, there are two sides. First of all, they have to be a class higher than him, else he would not invest the time. All relationships feel like they are forced onto him, initially by the power of their looks, and after that, because he avoids changes. His cluelessness and the way he is incapable of having relationships then relativate the narcissism.

But also some girls like mature men who don't give a *beep* It is a challenge they usually don't encounter. Plus Maron looks interesting. Better than when he was younger, and with a certain daddy-quality. There is life experience and drama in that guy, which attracts especially the kind of girl with a savior complex.

This is not like Love, where the ugly characterless nerd without money has to juggle a number of relationships with girls way out of his league, and behaves like that was a normal sitation.

A man who can make a girl laugh is Sexy, whether he is handsome or not. Maron is both.

Marc Maron is almost never funny in this, but it's a good series.

His observations are quietly hilarious. His disgust with most other humans is a common thread, to me. His character's dysfunctional family is a hoot...with the great Sally Kellerman as his mother. lol. I suppose I am more drawn to that kind of humor than the joke-haha kind. I enjoy Larry David for the same reason....observations.

Clearly you've never been a middle aged man with a little bit of fame and money.
