Coincidence or deliberate?

If anyone is an industry insider with (genuine) direct knowledge of this production, could you answer a silly question?

Does this title have any relation at all to the fictitious porno title "See You Next Wednesday" that shows up in several of John Landis' early films, beginning with KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE? Or is it just a coincidence?

Thanks!

ha uhm i dont think so but i dont watch this show nor have i heard of that. "see you next tuesday" is used as a way to call someone a *beep* in case you have not heard that. as in "C U (N)ext (T)uesday" probably where your porn title came from

It seems to be an injoke, like using The Wilhelm Scream.

I just watched "Dark Tower" (1987), and there is an exchange between the parapsychologist and the little girl he was testing. As they part, he says, "See you next..." The little girl adds, "Tuesday?" He smiles and says, "No. Wednesday."

I once made a list of films in which this occurs but unfortunately mislaid it. Landis started it, and people seem to be carrying on with it.
