That was great. I really loved how totally flummoxed he was by their genuine hatred! Steven obviously wasn't used to being around gay people, and he was completely rude about it at first, but there was no malice in it - he was just demonstrating the rote reactions he'd learned among people who were vastly less intelligent and refined than, in truth, he was (though I do not think he particularly saw himself as such).

Once he got used to the idea, which he did pretty quickly, he was like, "The hell? Why would you hate someone for that?" His general lack of emotion in most areas made him rather hilariously unprepared to deal with real, true prejudice. He honestly couldn't understand it.

"We gotta get outta here." "I know, I can't stand this music!"
