The trailer gives away the "plot twist"

What were they thinking ? Incredibly dumb of them to show the plot twist in the trailer.

Sadly a lot of films do this which is a shame. I never watched the trailer but guessed the twist fairly early on in the film. I'd say knowing the twist didn't ruin it for me.

I disagree. If you really pay close attention to the trailer you might pick up one of the plot twists but the big twist is finding out that Steve killed Christopher and set the whole thing in motion. You couldn't have known that from the trailer. You also wouldn't have gotten the twist that the hitman persona was all in his imagination and he was just going around killing people he thought had killed his wife.
But like any film that includes plot twist ideas in the trailer, it's pretty hard to understand it until you have watched the film and then it's like "man, how did I not see that coming when it was in the trailer?"

That's not even the big plot twist.

Maybe I didn't fully understand this movie or maybe different people took different things from the film. What do you consider to be the big plot twist?

Didn't see the trailer, but perhaps it's because I've seen so many movies in my life (and thus big twists are often seen a mile away), the second that Percival mentions that Christopher was killed, it seemed very likely that Steven killed him.

I honestly didn't see Percival killing Alice coming; between Steven trying to kill Frank and likely having killed Christopher I didn't even think about it. I also didn't guess the hit-boss delusion, but I feel like that's a fairly minor one (sure Steven is a bit delusional, but that's not a huge leap from the rest of his personality that we see during the movie).

Trying to think of the plot twist that Combs is talking about, and coming up blank. I'd be curious if there is some actual enlightening bigger-plot twist though, or if it's just someone trying to sound smart and coy. Biggest contenders if they think it's a legit twist would be either that Steven's delusion character is physically based on the shopkeeper at the start (implying some sort of self-destruction after killing Christopher, which makes little sense given that the importance of the murder didn't dawn on him until the very end of the movie), or something about being able to argue that what actually started the chain reaction was either Annie getting pregnant (hence getting ice cream), or the freezer breaking down and being replaced (hence ice cream being solid enough to murder someone with).

Netflix gave it away in the synopsis!
