Love this show

But that's probably because I have been a fan of Greg Kinnear for YEARS. Anyway - if this does get cancelled/non-renewed... would I like the AU version? Or are they very different?

The AU version is a total riot. While there is a similarity in theme, it is a night and day difference in execution, since the AU version has language, nudity, and "topic matter" that is more suited to the overall theme. There are lots of promos and clips on youtube, plus you get Hugo Weaving playing the cannibal, Sam Neal in the beastiality 3-way, and Kate Blanchett and Toni Colletee in priceless cameos, and most importantly, Harry, sorry, David Potter looks exactly like Harry Potter.

Loving Rake. Sad to hear that it is likely cancelled. Though many seem to like the original more, they don't make it sound better. Sounds very different.

You'll know within two or three episodes whether it is your cup of tea. I like this show; I love the original. It's up on Netflix and definitely at least worth checking out.
