1893 Reviews on Amazon & Only 7 Here? lol

How does this film, which I only watched (and did not like much) based on 1894 Amazon reviews, most of them positive (1204 favorable compared to 690 critical), end up with only 7 reviews on IMDB?

IMDB being as popular a site as it is, this huge discrepancy does not make any sense at all unless some fans of the film are using proxy accounts to write endless positive reviews on Amazon.
