Iris Elba, JB = James Bond?

Did anyone else think the JB initials on Idris Elba's card he gave to Sean Penn was a in-joke to James Bond? Considering when he filmed this was probably around the time he was being touted for the role.

Or it could just be a coincidence with his character having the same initials...

He was never a serious canadate for being James Bond. They have done enough to destroy the franchise. That would have been the final nail in the coffin.
