"Horses are hung like Levi"

By far, the best line of the series finale.

Too bad, like everything else in A.M., it's fiction. Levi has been married to the same woman for about 12 years now, and unless his "mistress" is his wife, he can kiss his ass goodbye.

One last thing: Although I didn't read his book, I read several reviews about it. There is nothing in it about Amish Mafia. It is more about Amish Life than anything else if you want to believe whatever it is that he has to say about it.

That's because everybody involved with "Amish Mafia" had to sign non-disclosure agreements, and divulging any info could end you up in court, being sued for breach of contract.

It was fun......but now it's done.

I'm going to miss this board.

When I heard that I just knew that someone would create a thread over it. 

She could have spared us the sordid details and have simply stated that Levi was "backed by the power of a 20 inch mule member" team. 

Yeah, it was fun while it lasted. Now the only show worthy of lambasting is Alaskan Bush People, and I don't exactly see it having too much of a future either.

Oh Hell yeah, 87!

That line begged to be commented on.....It was like waving a red flag in front of a bull, and me being the sucker that I am, I just couldn't help myself!

Up until last night, I never heard of Pattie Crider, or her blog, so just for kicks I looked it up. She has some interesting posts about Levi, and Esther dating back about 2 years.

Although she seems to like Levi Stoltzfus, it is crystal clear that she can't stand Esther Schmucker, and vice versa.

Now....She, like the show, is based in Central Pennsylvania, and a lot of her sources are from that area. What struck me in particular is the stuff that they have to put up with as a result of them being on the show. For example, Levi goes to one business opening to make an appearance and pose for pictures and sign autographs. He takes a pic with a woman that he never met before, and within days she is "haunting his house" per se. Threatening to post pictures that (allegedly) show his "horse" meat and all the naughty little texts that he sent to her over the following next few weeks.

It just goes to show, with a little notoriety (good or bad), you become a target for all the lunatic fringe that can crawl out of the woodwork at any time. The problem with that is that you never know when or where.

Speaking only for myself, I seriously doubt that I could handle something like that with any kind of class, whatsoever.

OIC.....Duhhh.....

Esther Schmucker posted an interesting blurb on her Facebook page yesterday.

She more or less stated that she is (getting) pissed at Hot Snakes Production for using her "image" intermittently during this last season, and that she has had nothing to do with Amish Mafia since 2013. She went on to say that when she turned down their latest offer, they had to scramble to re-write the "story lines", and that upset them greatly. Otherwise it would have even been worse than what it was.

Personally, I think there might be something to that, as the show engaged in a certain amount of Esther bashing during the Amish Confidential portion of Tuesday's broadcast.

What's the truth? We are probably never going to know for sure, but I would say that between both sides of the story, therein lies the truth.

Should she write her book, as rumored, that's when all the dirty little details about the show will emerge.

I'm surprised that the rest of the former cast hasn't weighed in .....
