Ending

This was the 2nd Maria Lang movie I just saw and once again in the end Puck has an insight, after Christer has challenged the killer, who only then shocks at the detailed info, which doesn't prove the identity of the murderer, and spills the beans, even though there's still no evidence to incriminate. Felt stupid the first time, 2nd time I cringed. If the 3rd movie has the same ending, I'm not going to watch these anymore.

I believe that these Maria Lang novels are popular and refuse to believe that they are so bad, or rather pedestrian as these movies.

Once again watched because of Tuva.. also I like the old settings, costumes, etc. Ola Rapace is good too, perfect old time cop, looking very good and sharp in his suits.

I watched all of the episodes in the "Crimes of Passion" anthology ONLY for the beautiful scenery and the vintage fashions. The actual crimes themselves are poorly scripted. Puck is not a very engaging character and remains a rather reserved, passive observer than a keen sleuth. But I adore Tuva and without her, I think Puck would've been much much worse.
