Vampyres in jew folklore?

Eighty-seven percent of the cast is part of the Tribe. Which raises the question..

Is there any sort of 'vampyre' mythos in the Hebrew Testament or any of the ancient texts? Kabbalah perhaps?

I did find this link
http://www.vampirerave.com/houses/house_page.php?house=kabbalah&page=3645
But it doesn't seem to know what it is talking about

Wikipedia goes into detail on Yiddish traditions of vampirism, but this is just appropriation from Eastern European folklore.

I couldn't believe when I read his filmography that he played a toilet (no joke) in According to Jim

I'm not familiar with any in the Old Testament or in Jewish folklore in general, though I'm hardly an expert.

Most folklore are culturally influenced by other folklore, that's just how it works.

It would be no less valid just because it resembles what you expect. It just has to be part of the folk's lore.

Though such a spin would probably be interesting!
