this movie is so bad, a kid with a cellphone could make a better movie. Avoid at all costs, and I rarely say that. I haven't hated a movie this much since South Of Heaven West Of Hell.

People don't listen to this clown! The cinematography and Ed Harris make it very watchable despite the obvious pro immigration theme.
I really enjoyed this film. Im sad that films like this dont get nation wide releases. Never heard of it before. Thank Goodness for Netflix

I dont know why people think their opinion must be the truth, Ed Harris gives a great performance and cinematography is good. I think the bad side is a history too much entangled with innecesary subplots and the proimmigrant bias. Very watchable movie. Thanks op.

I agree. This movie was really boring. Even tough im a huge Ed Harris fan, this is one i'm never going to watch again. I keep reading it was suppose to be close to border crossing reality or something like that, but to me, it was nothing more than an excuse to include a raping scene in a story that didn't need one. Some beating up, some casual acting, some narrative that doesn't go nowhere we haven't already seen before, nothing more to it than that.
