This movie, i.e. Frontera, shows illegals committing a home invasion robbery. I'll go out on a limb and say that's somewhat of a negative light.

Obviously, you didn't watch the movie. It shows all sides.
There are illegals in the film who invade a home and steal a truck and money from a terrified family, and there is also a "coyote" who is a rapist and extortionist who imprisons innocent people for profit.
On the other hand, the crimes of Americans who deem themselves judge, jury and executioner are shown, as well as the corruption of a border patrol officer who takes bribes, and the willingness of privileged whites to let an innocent Mexican take the blame for their actions.
