I couldn't finish watching it...

The movie seemed different. But after the restaurant scene I couldn't watch it anymore. Perhaps I'll finish watching it just to know whatever will happen to Mr.Harper.
But the minute it was obvious to me that Holly Carpenter will end up being K. Michaels love interest... I lost my interest.

I loved the idea of age being a number. I thought people were going to be portrayed as people, particularly Bella Heathcote. But the minute I realized I was just watching the same old story of two broken individuals coming together to form a functional match, I couldn't suspend my disbelief.

In my experience... only one of the two "hearts" should be "broken". Two broken "hearts" do not make a whole.

So I'll keep looking for a movie where one the characters really gets a second chance instead of the 'left overs' of somebody else's mistakes... and the other characters gets a partner that will spare her the drama and take her straight to happiness.

This one stroke a chord in the wrong way.

Two broken hearts does not necessarily equal two broken people.

People who have had heart ache in their lives, hopefully learn from this experience and develop understanding, sensitivity and empathy.

I, with my painful past experiences, would much rather connect with someone who understands and has compassion for what I've gone through (and vice versa), than someone who's clueless and has the emotional range of a teaspoon (thanks Hermione).

ps: I don't consider myself 'leftovers' just because I've experienced heartbreak in the past 

I know you're right. Not everybody is broken beyond repair. But so far, I'd rather be alone than to start another let's-heal-each-other relationship.
