Excellent movie!

This is a strong and worthy sequel to 17 Miracles.

I will be buying multiple DVDs to use as Christmas presents.

As I have only watched my copy of the DVD once, I will need some time to put this movie into perspective. For now, however, I'd rank it in the LDS Cinema sub-genre like this:

The Best Two Years (best drama)
The Singles Ward (best comedy)
17 Miracles/Ephraim's Rescue (best church historical)
Saints and Soldiers (best non-church historical)

Proudly defending films older than Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and Miley Cyrus.

Interesting that you describe it as a 'sequel'.
I am only about half-way through it but I see it as almost a 'retelling'. There are so many similarities and overlaps between them.
In fact, when I saw Albert I had to double check I wasn't watching 17 Miracles again.
